To the roots,
How long have we been scratching the surface hoping to solve the problems? How long have we been looking outside, desperately grasping for the solution but having no idea what we see in reality is only a reflection and not the real object? How long have we been refusing to look inside, within us, as our inner world is as chaotic and confusing as the world we live in? How long have we been trying so hard to fix some sort of large-scale global issues — although our efforts are definitely valid and counted, it seems like we’re heading nowhere but disappointment if we’re fixated so much (only) on the trunk and afraid of digging deep into the roots. And what are the roots here? Thousands and thousands of years of being buried in the dark; growing painfully and silently, yet resiliently. What are the roots here? Oppression and suppression, shame and rage; wildness that has yet freed, bursting through our veins, operates mostly unconsciously in the most distorted way possible. We’ve lost the sense of sacredness. We’ve forgotten the invisible threads that link us together.
Until we collectively, and profoundly, acknowledge that within every individual contains a seed of change, and the answer we have been long searching for exists patiently inside us waiting to be awakened, we still have to bear witness to what is being crumbled and taken down. The foundation is shaking. The veil of those lies we have been conditioned and programmed is now being lifted. If you’re called to look inward, please don’t ignore. I hope to lend you some courage to face what needs to be confronted. Look inside and you will be surprised how similar it is to the outside. But here, it is may not as hopeless or out far of reach as it seems, because you already and always have all the power to tend and shift your inner world.
When something inside you shifts, it also has the ripple effect that shifts the world around you. The subtle sense may seem unseeable, but it is strongly felt. First we rebuild our worlds, then we rebuild the world together.
